Besides its internationally renowned beaches. Goa is also known for world heritage architecture including
Basilica of Bom Jesus. Goa is a treat to the traveller; Goa’s carnivals, colossal and unique Portuguese villas, ancient Hindu temples, magnificent churches are all surrounded by plush terrain interspersed with exotic coastline.
That said, Goa has some of the finest beaches, including
Calangute, Baga, Anjuna, Vagator and an old fort overlooking the beach at
Chapora, Arambol Beach with fresh water pocket next to the sea.
These northern beaches are matched with the sparkling white sand and calm sea of the southern beaches of
Bogmolo, Colva, Benaulim, Cavelossim and Mabor.
